Ideaplus Foundation is a Nigerian non-governmental organisation working to advance transparency, accountability, and citizen power in governance. Founded in 2020, we sit at the meeting point of research, advocacy, and capacity-building.
We take a long-term view, recognising that one-off advocacy rarely delivers durable reform. We strengthen accountability systems by producing research that shapes public debate, building citizen capabilities, and convening spaces where decision-makers engage directly with the people they serve.
We track success through outcomes, not activities: policies improved, information opened, public resources better governed, and citizen coalitions that endure beyond our support.
Our campaigns, briefs, and convenings are grounded in robust research, ensuring our advocacy is credible and effective.
We strengthen citizen skills, tools, and alliances so public voice is informed, organised, and sustained.
We work with reform-minded officials and organised civic actors, aligning inside incentives with outside demand for reform.
